"Beautiful Creatures review"

"Beautiful Creatures"

--by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia

In a town with no surprises,
one can change everything....
There were no surprises in Gatlin County. We were pretty much the epicenter of the middle of nowhere.
At least, that's what I thought.
Turns out, I couldn't have been more wrong. There was a curse. There was a girl. And in the end, there was a grave.

Lena Duchannes is unlike anyone the small Southern town of Gatlin has ever seen, and she's struggling to conceal her power and a curse that has haunted her family for generations. But even within the overgrown gardens, murky swamps and crumbling graveyards of the forgotten South, a secret cannot stay hidden forever.

Ethan Wate, who has been counting the months until he can escape from Gatlin, is haunted by dreams of a beautiful girl he has never met. When Lena moves into the town's oldest and most infamous plantation, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her and determined to uncover the connection between them.

"Some loves are MEANT to be....
others are CURSED....."

"A life-risking love story of two captivating young individuals who grew up in both separate worlds, where death awaits, light is hard to seek, and knowing darkness may soon overpower."
Finishing this book felt like a good accomplishment. This book is a boy's point of view, who thinks that living in a small town of Gatlin is like living in the middle of Nowhere. And that is there are two kinds of people living in the town of Gatlin, the ones who are bound to stay or too dumb to go. Lately, he has been having this weird dreams about him and this mysterious girl. Thinking that nothing will happen to him in this town, he is counting days and he is dying to move to a different and yet better place. But things change when a girl at his same age moved in Gatlin. Realizing that this girl might be the same girl in his dreams, he tries to be friends with her to uncover the connections between them, and soon found themselves in love with each other.
